This curriculum basically developed in the following steps:
- How does GAN works
- What can you do with GANs
- The challenges that GAN is facing
The lecturer Ian is really awesome and he clearly described the whole picture of the GAN.
What interests me most is how GAN makes prediction when the data is missing and how it generates photos based on the picture it currently get, these topics are quite amazing and attractive.
Besides, the challenges: non-convergence and discrete input variables did give us a good direct for the further research if interested in this area.
To summarize, it’s a brilliant curriculum that inspired us with GAN which opens a door to a wide range of engineering tasks.
